The Sector Scheme documents are linked to ISO9001:2008 and detail organisational, training and competence requirements to enable contractors to register with a recognised certification body for the type of works they undertake.

Registration to these scopes is mandatory for those working on the Highways Agency’s network and is increasingly being specified by local authorities and other client organisations.
