 Since our last “News Matters” in the Summer we have been very busy and are now pleased to report that further upgrades have been carried out at our VRS (crash barrier) Training and Assessment area at the Mendip Vocational Skills Centre in Rooksbridge (near Weston-super-Mare).
As well as offering the standard 5 day course covering TCB, OBB, DROBB and the additional Wire Rope courses, our facility is now fully equipped with the latest Corus, Flexbeam, Trinity, P4 Terminal and Bikeguard hardware in an ideal location where there are local on-site catering facilities along with excellent accommodation packages available in the area.
In addition to the Lantra Awards accredited courses we can offer bespoke/tailor made Awareness and Refresher courses aimed at those who are not necessarily Fence Installers but who may be Planners, Desk Based Management, Engineers or Inspectors etc.
Also available at the centre are NRSWA courses for Operatives and Supervisors(City & Guilds) , TM Foreman and RLTMO (SS 12D) courses (Lantra Awards) and various other short duration training and assessment programmes for ride on plant (CPCS).
We also continue to offer a wide range of NVQ Programmes for various disciplines within the Highways sector of the Construction Industy and have expanded these recently to include Level 3 Site Supervision.
