Operating from their purpose built Offices and Training Centre TQ offer a wide range of Vocational Training and Assessment programmes covering all aspects of Highways Maintenance and Construction.

In addition to their registration with BSI (ISO 9001:2000) TQ Exel hold centre approvals from City and Guilds, Construction Awards Alliance, Lantra Awards, Construction Skills, ILM and CIWM.

Operating nationally, training and assessment is offered to clients at their own locations where suitable facilities and equipment is in place, however, in recent years TQ Exel have expanded their HQ to be able to offer specialist courses in Vehicle Restraint Systems (approved by Lantra Awards) and have made a substantial investment to ensure the widest possible coverage of systems available.

The centre also offers Ride on Plant training, New Roads and Street Works and many “classroom” based programmes such as the High Speed Temporary Traffic Management 2 Day Foreman Course. Proximity to Bristol International Airport and close relationships with local hotels has made our Training Centre popular with clients from across the UK.

Our range of courses and assessment programmes are particularly suited to Highways Agency maintenance contractors and Local Authorities, where our Traffic Management Sector Scheme and Winter Service Operations approvals are of particular interest.
