SSSTS Training

Required for all operators of Winter Service equipment including Snowploughs, Gritters and Snow Blowers, this City & Guilds qualification is nationally recognised and enables successful candidates to be entered onto the national register of Winter Service Operatives and gain their NEREO Card - SSSTS, SMSTS & NRSWA Training. We offer NPORS accredited or "in house" Plant Operator training along with the NVQ in Plant Operations which is required in order to gain a blue CPCS card. The NPORS scheme is widely accepted throughout the construction industry although the CPCS scheme is preferred on some major sites. We advise that you check with your client prior to booking training to ensure that either NPORS cards or In House certification are acceptable prior to booking as we are unable to offer the current CPCS operator tests. Many of our Highways sector clients are happy with our in house courses as they are tailored towards their specific requirements. NPORS cards, we understand, are now acceptable on Olympic Delivery Agency sites and we know that NPORS are currently working hard to gain acceptance industry wide. Clicking the links below will take you to our listing of plant categories that we offer training for and details of the Plant Operations NVQ's. Registration to these scopes is mandatory for those working on the Highways Agency's network and is increasingly being specified by local authorities and other client organisations.
